Snowflake Lane 2022 Auditions

You MUST fill out our audition form here PRIOR to attending auditions!

ATTENTION ALL AUDITIONEES:

LOCATION: INSIDE BELLEVUE SQUARE MALL at the southeast end of the building, on the main/first floor (beneath ZARA and next door to Foot Locker). Performers/parents may park in any of the adjacent garages, but please be aware that some garages charge a fee. Self-parking at Bellevue Square Mall is always free of charge.

  • Please be punctual. Factor in the time you will need to park and walk to the audition room-- don't be late!

  • No spectators will be allowed in the audition room, so make plans ahead of time if you need to meet your ride once you are dismissed. Performers are typically dismissed in groups and we cannot guarantee a departure time, although if you have a specific scheduling need, we will do our best to accommodate that and get you through the process as quickly as possible.

YOU MUST BRING:

  • Mask (to be worn at all times backstage during the audition)

  • ID

  • Covid-19 Vaccination card or negative covid test (taken within 72 hours of scheduled audition)

You are responsible for having read and understood the 2022 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW document prior to attending the audition.

Please DO NOT attend auditions if:

FINDER’S BONUS: We have increased this year’s nightly pay to $40 per performance, so please tell your friends and family about auditions! We are looking to hire several various performers as well as float drivers, so if your parent/guardian is planning on giving you a ride each night, we would love to pay them to drive one of our floats! If we hire you and we hire someone NEW you refer, you will get a $50 finder's bonus! Please have anyone you refer list YOUR name under the “referred by” section when they fill out the audition form.

If you have any questions about the time, date, location, or process of your audition, we ask that you email us at: snowflakelane@yahoo.com

DRUMLINE AUDITIONS: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 1ST @10AM

(9:30AM Check-In)

AUDITION: There will be three parts to the drummer audition:

PART 1: PREPARED PIECE (sent to auditionees via email prior to auditions): drummers should be familiar with and ready to PERFORM their preferred instrument's part in the attached audition piece. Snowflake Lane Drummers are expected to be able to prepare music on their own, and your proficiency with the material will absolutely factor into casting. We also want to see your individual spin-- facial expressions, energy, movement, and stick tricks from the very start!

PART 2: CHOREOGRAPHY/MOVEMENT: You will be taught a short piece of choreography and asked to perform it while playing the prepared music. We want to see you learn on the fly, understand how you move, and watch you take direction.

PART 3: HAVE FUN! You may be asked for added antics at any point in the day: come ready to play, create, and enjoy the process!

NOTES:

  • Please bring your own drumsticks. If you do not have drumsticks, we will provide a pair for auditions.
